Help Helene Storm Victims
Donate much-needed items for us to deliver or give to our disaster relief fund.
Nearly 20,000 people are considered food insecure in Cherokee County, and many families struggle to put food on the table. Through the First Baptist Woodstock Food Ministry, you can help church members and Cherokee County residents in need access nutritious, delicious food for themselves and their families.
Each week, we give away 25 food boxes per day, and each box costs approximately $80 to fill. These boxes are made possible by our food drives, donations from local businesses, and generous donors like you.
Donate to our Food Ministry today, and help us care for those in our community!
If you need food assistance or want to donate outside of these hours, please call our CARE Ministries Office to schedule an appointment.
Download and print off the food list above and pick up the recommended items from your local supermarket. Drop the groceries off at our ministry office located in the Basement of the B Building, or at any of the designated food donation bins throughout the campus.
Put the cash or check you would like to give in a tithing envelope and indicate “FOOD PANTRY” on the outside of the envelope and also write it on the memo line of your check, and place it in one of the offering receptacles on Sunday morning. You can also bring your donation to our office during business hours, or give online below.
If you and your family are suffering from food insecurity, we offer once per week food distribution to our Cherokee County community. Visit the Care Ministry in the lower level of the B Building to receive a box of non-perishable food that will help feed a family of 4 for 5 days. You can receive one box of food each week. Call our office for more details or to schedule a pickup.
The food ministry makes sure that my family’s needs are met so I can take care of them and myself. – Makala
