ROCKSOLID Christian Group Fitness

An explosive combination of fitness expertise through a Christian perspective provides a powerful and lifechanging work-out experience! A variety of classes are offered to meet your specific personality and needs. Click on the logo below for class descriptions.

Fitness Boot Camp

A powerful, 60 minute, full-body workout incorporating fat burning, muscle toning, and strengthening exercises by rotating to different stations in a time specific format. This is training for greater endurance, which will increase aerobic capacity. This class includes cardio, core and lots more!

  • Monday and Wednesday 9am-10am
  • $28 per month (beginning at the first of each month)

Stretch and Strengthen

This is a class that focuses on felibility and functional exercises for anyone 50 and older. We work on balance and incorporate yoga exercises. We also use exercise bands for resistance exercises, working on all muscle groups of the body even minor muscle groups.

Leo Hilton is the instructor, and he has been training for 14 years. He has specialized in working with people that have various pain issues from lower back, to knees and shoulders. If you have questions, feel free to contact him.

Blood Drive

We have partnered with the American Red Cross to host two blood drives each year. Pastor always challenges us that we are never more like Christ than when we are giving. Don't miss out on helping save lives through giving blood.

Our next blood drive is coming up in February during the morning worship hours. Please be in prayer for how you can serve our community in this area. More information will be coming soon!

Walking Path
  • 1 mile, 1.25 mile, and 1.5 mile loop around the campus
  • The path begins at Kidzstock and is clearly marked with signs that lead the way using arrows and relevant scripture to meditate on.
Tri4Him
  • Tri4Him is faith-based triathlon team with a unique blend of community and training. As followers of Jesus Christ, we use our training and competition in triathlons (and other endurance events—marathons, half-marathons, century rides) as means to improve our physical and spiritual condition. Our purpose goes far beyond promoting healthy lifestyles and providing a fun social and recreational activity. www.tri4him.com

Internships
  • Opportunity for students to receive introduction to all aspects of wellness & recreaton program development in the areas of promotion and program planning. Interns will enhance their skill by assisting in: facility supervision (gymansium with exercise area, outdoor walking/joggin path, sand volleyball courts, ets.), Individual exercise prescriptions, follow-up, and equipment maintenance; coordination of special events; compiling statistics; instruction of wellness/fitness activities and production of education materials; risk factor identification of prgram participants; producting articles for newsletter adn other communication services; promotion of wellness programs; coordination of available community resources.
