Special Needs Ministries

We believe God has given us a unique task of supporting families by providing a safe, loving Christ-centered program for the special needs child or adult while parent(s) and siblings attend worship, Sunday School, and serve at FBCW.

Currently, we offer two Sunday School classes at 8AM and 9:30AM in Rooms A163 and A166. Each class is composed of individuals with a wide range of ability levels and ages. Our Sunday School class includes a time for greeting one another, a Bible verse, a Bible story, music and a time of prayer. Students are encouraged to be active participants during group time through the use of simple assistive technology and visuals. Leisure activities such as arts and crafts, music and stories are included in our morning schedule.
