Sports Missions

Dominican Republic
Each summer we take a baseball team to the Dominican Republic.  The team made up of High School and College age players, plays about eight to ten games as a way to share the gospel to thousands of people that attend the games.  We are proud to work in conjuction with SCORE International.

Canada
Basketball and Soccer are the main sports as we work to reach the people of Rawdon, Canada.  Each year a team partners with former member and Wellness and Recreation Minister Ron Young and his family.  They are working diligently in Rawdon to start a church that will be beacon of light in their community.  We have had a great response with our sports mission projects and look forward to going back every summer.

The Sports Missions of FBCW has also been priveledged to reach the world for Chirst through sports in Cleveland, Portugal and South Africa.  We also plan to reach out to countries like Ireland, Bosnia, and Iraq in the near future.  Contact Wes LeCroy for information on how you can be a part of a Sports Mission.  Also check out other Short Term Projects at FBCW to see how God might use you in the world.
