Foster Care

Woodstock Foster Care Ministry logo

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
James 1:27

Currently in Cherokee County, there are 205 kids in the foster care system and far too few homes in which to place them. Many times these children, who have been removed from their families and homes, are sent far away from the community they know because there are not homes to take them in.

The goal of WeFoster is to provide a caring, Christian home for every foster child in our community and to support our foster families through the WeFoster Community of Care to ensure their success.

To date, WeFoster has provided a home for over 90 children for a combined 60 years of care. We have rejoiced as 13 have been adopted and several have been saved. But there are still children who need a home.
